  1. good Job Fred! Great to see you back.
What advice would you give if I want to learn how to paint? Currently I am just using Photo and doing Master Copies.

  2. I think the most important is to learn composition, it is the basic of all painting. Rendering seems to be a second issue, and without good composition , rendering won t help. For composition follow these two masters one book from Marcos Mateu-Mestre and one from Edgar_Payne_composition Outdoor Painting)

Second thing is practice. Do your own stuff, but don t get caught in doing one thing and turn it to something great from scratch. Do a lot of different theme, and pick up the one that can turn a little star...Start black and white...the go to color...and compare with nature and others work...
Finally, always study and paint what you like...
I can t really tell you more as I m allways learning...

  4. Thank you for another great post. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing about landscaping? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information.
